Michael Johnson, Owner, Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist
Michael’s dream job is to do creative work and to help people. He met his wife Stacey in Arizona and she introduced him to her friends who were in the prosthetics and orthotics industry. Immediately Michael knew that was the vocation for him. With their small family he transferred to and graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics and has served patients in Washington, California, Utah, Arizona, New York, and Idaho. He is certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, Inc., and has specialized training in pediatrics, computer controlled hands and knees as well as state-of-the-art socket interface designs for artificial limbs. Bilingual (Spanish).
Ben joined our team in January 2015 after practicing most recently in Georgia. He received his dual Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics degrees from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and has worked in Idaho, Texas, Utah, and Georgia. He is certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, Inc. He most enjoys giving people back their mobility and helping reduce their pains both physical and emotional. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors with his wife and children. Trilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese).
Dion Foster Sr., Technician
Dion Foster Sr. a 25 year technician began his career in 1986 in Chicago as a prosthetic tech. He began working in orthotics 5 years later. He is well versed in both disciplines including but not limited to spinal and pediatric O&P. He has been with Orthopro since 2015, hailing from Spinal Solutions in Conyers, GA, where he managed the lower extremity Central Fabrication Department. In addition to being a well versed O&P tech, in 2012 he received his ABC certification as an assistant in O&P. Most days he can be found in our fabrication department wearing vividly colored scrubs.
